With the possibility of snow down to sea level I thought it wise to take down my foldingantennas.com hexbeam, which I have had up “temporarily” since January. Of course, the snow didn’t come. Thanks to Chris ZL3LF for the loan of his Spiderbeam pole.

I thought I would record the process of folding it up. Not too bad if you do it slowly and methodically. Hopefully it will unfold just as easily next time I want to use it.

Actually it is the unrecorded step after this that is almost the most crucial: turn it upside down while making sure that the wires don’t flip to the wrong side of the centre pole, and then wrap around the last strap to hold them.
